Video footage sent to Chris Lynch Media shows a water pipe bursting above Columbus Coffee on Riccarton Rd.
Shoppers told Chris Lynch Media they were forced to evacuate the mall about 11.30am as a result of the busted water pipe.
Fire and Emergency NZ crews were at the scene, a witness said.
